BookrestTime（以下「本アプリ」）は、ユーザーのプライバシーを尊重し、個人情報の保護に努めています。本プライバシーポリシーは、本アプリがどのような情報を収集し、どのように使用するかについて説明します。

収集する情報

本アプリは以下の機能を提供します：

• 電子書籍の閲覧: mobi、EPUB、PDF、ZIP形式の電子書籍ファイルを閲覧
• ファイル転送: ローカルネットワーク上のブラウザからiPadへ電子書籍ファイルをアップロード
• 音声読み上げ（TTS）: デバイス内蔵の音声合成エンジンによるテキスト読み上げ

以下の情報のみをお使いのデバイス内にローカル保存します：

ローカルに保存されるデータ

• 書籍ライブラリ情報: ユーザーがインポートした電子書籍ファイルのメタデータ（タイトル、著者名、表紙画像、追加日時）
• フォルダ構成: ユーザーが作成した論理フォルダの情報（フォルダ名、階層構造）
• しおり: ユーザーが設定したしおりの情報（ページ位置）
• 読書位置: 各書籍の最後に読んだページ位置
• 書籍メモ: ユーザーが各書籍に記録したメモ・コメント
• 閲覧設定: フォントサイズ、行間隔、背景色、書籍別の表示設定
• 音声読み上げ設定: 音量、速度、音声選択、ハイライト表示、自動スクロールの設定

データの使用目的

保存されるデータは、以下の目的でのみ使用されます：

• 書籍ライブラリの表示と管理
• 電子書籍の閲覧
• 読書位置の記録と復元
• ユーザー設定の保持
• アプリ再起動時の状態復元

データの共有

• インターネット接続を使用しません（外部サーバーとの通信なし）
• 外部サーバーへのデータ送信を行いません
• 分析ツールや広告SDKを含みません

ネットワーク通信

本アプリは、ローカルネットワーク内での通信のみを使用します：

• ファイル転送機能: 同一Wi-Fiネットワーク上のPCブラウザからiPadへ電子書籍ファイルをアップロードするために、デバイス上で一時的にHTTPサーバを起動します
• ファイル転送機能はユーザーが手動で起動・停止を行います
• 不正アクセス防止のため、サーバ起動ごとにワンタイムトークンを生成します
• インターネットへの接続や外部サーバーとの通信は行いません

データの保存場所

すべてのデータは、お使いのiPad内のアプリケーションサンドボックス内にのみ保存されます。他のアプリケーションからアクセスすることはできません。

ファイルアクセス

本アプリは、アプリのDocumentsディレクトリ内の電子書籍ファイルにのみアクセスします。ユーザーがインポートまたはアップロードしたファイルのみを取り扱い、システムフォルダや他のアプリケーションのデータにはアクセスしません。

音声読み上げ機能

本アプリの音声読み上げ（TTS）機能は、デバイスに内蔵されたAppleの音声合成エンジン（AVSpeechSynthesizer）を使用します。テキストデータがインターネットに送信されることはありません。すべての音声合成処理はデバイス上でローカルに実行されます。

データの削除

アプリをアンインストールすると、保存されたすべてのデータ（書籍ファイル、メタデータ、しおり、読書位置、メモ、設定情報）が削除されます。

お子様のプライバシー

本アプリは、13歳未満のお子様から意図的に個人情報を収集することはありません。

プライバシーポリシーの変更

本プライバシーポリシーは、必要に応じて更新される場合があります。重要な変更がある場合は、アプリのアップデートを通じてお知らせします。

Introduction

BookrestTime ("the App") respects user privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used.

Information We Collect

The App provides the following features:

• E-book reading: View e-book files in mobi, EPUB, PDF, and ZIP formats
• File transfer: Upload e-book files from a browser on the local network to the iPad
• Text-to-Speech (TTS): Read aloud text using the device's built-in speech synthesis engine

The App only stores the following information locally on your device:

Data Stored Locally

• Book Library Information: Metadata of e-book files imported by the user (title, author name, cover image, date added)
• Folder Structure: Information about logical folders created by the user (folder names, hierarchy)
• Bookmarks: Bookmark information set by the user (page positions)
• Reading Position: Last read page position for each book
• Book Notes: Notes and comments recorded by the user for each book
• Display Settings: Font size, line spacing, background color, per-book display settings
• Text-to-Speech Settings: Volume, speed, voice selection, highlight display, and auto-scroll settings

How We Use Data

Stored data is used only for the following purposes:

• Displaying and managing the book library
• Reading e-books
• Recording and restoring reading positions
• Retaining user preferences
• Restoring app state on restart

Data Sharing

• Does not use internet connection (no communication with external servers)
• Does not send data to external servers
• Does not include analytics tools or advertising SDKs

Network Communication

The App only uses communication within the local network:

• File Transfer Feature: Temporarily starts an HTTP server on the device to allow uploading e-book files from a PC browser on the same Wi-Fi network to the iPad
• The file transfer feature is manually started and stopped by the user
• A one-time access token is generated each time the server starts to prevent unauthorized access
• Does not connect to the internet or communicate with external servers

Data Storage Location

All data is stored only within the application sandbox on your iPad. It cannot be accessed by other applications.

File Access

The App only accesses e-book files within the app's Documents directory. It handles only files imported or uploaded by the user and does not access system folders or data from other applications.

Text-to-Speech Feature

The App's Text-to-Speech (TTS) feature uses Apple's built-in speech synthesis engine (AVSpeechSynthesizer) on the device. Text data is never sent to the internet. All speech synthesis processing is performed locally on the device.

Data Deletion

When you uninstall the App, all stored data (book files, metadata, bookmarks, reading positions, notes, and settings) will be deleted.

Children's Privacy

The App does not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as needed. If there are significant changes, we will notify you through app updates.
